PTO Accrual Calculator
Calculate accrued paid time off based on hours worked or as a share of the annual entitlement.
Per-hour method multiplies hours worked by the accrual rate. Per-year method prorates the annual entitlement by the ratio of days worked to total working days in the year.

Two ways to calculate PTO
Some employers grant PTO per hour worked (typical in the US): you earn a fraction of a PTO hour for every hour you clock in. Other employers grant a fixed annual entitlement and prorate it by the share of the year you have already worked (typical in Europe). This calculator handles both.
Per-hour accrual
If you earn 15 days (120 hours) of PTO over a 2,080-hour work year, that is 120 / 2,080 = 0.0577 PTO hours per hour worked. After 1,040 hours (half the year), you have accrued 60 hours of PTO.
Per-year accrual
If you get 25 days per year and have worked 110 of the 220 working days so far, you have accrued 25 × (110 / 220) = 12.5 days of PTO.
Tracking PTO without a spreadsheet
Timesheet tracks accrued and remaining vacation, sick days, and other leave categories automatically based on contract rules. No spreadsheet, no end-of-month surprises.
